Objective To investigate the status quo of sleep quality and the quality of sleep problems among people aged 18 years and above in Yantai, and to explore the sleep quality characteristics of different groups. Methods A total of 4458 people were sampled from 18 years old and older in the city by random sampling method of multi-stage stratified cluster system, and 4450 people (99.82%) actually completed the questionnaire survey. To Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score> 7 points for the quality of sleep problems. Results The average sleep time was (7.83 ± 1.43) h and the PSQI score was (2.52 ± 3.94) points, which was significantly lower in rural areas than in urban areas (t = 2.07, P <0.05) ). The PSQI score increased with age, and was lower in 18-39 years old than in 40-54 years old and 55 years old (P <0.01). (2) A total of 461 cases (10.52%) had sleep quality problems, of which the incidence of sleep quality problems was higher in women than in men (c2 = 36.81, P <0.01); the incidence of sleep quality problems increased with age, (C2 = 199.40, P <0.01). The rural population was similar to the urban population (c2 = 0.003, P> 0.05). The marital status was poor and the degree of education was low The crowd (0 to 6 years of schooling) had a high prevalence of sleep quality problems, all of which were statistically significant (all P <0.01). Conclusion The quality of sleep in 18-year-old and above 18-year-olds in Yantai has obvious problems, but the incidence is lower than that of similar studies.
