Microfracture is a necessary condition for the (special) low-porosity clastic reservoir to have good permeability. The structural fractures of the oil-gas clastic reservoir in Yanqi Basin have parallel bedding plane surface with small crack width, short extension, no macroscopic fracture, no relative displacement dislocation of fractured rock, and fractures mainly in the interior of rigid particles. The factors influencing the development of structural microfractures are: tectonic stress, maturity of rock components, grain size, compaction and early interstitial content. The non-structural fractures in the reservoir are mainly the result of compaction. They mainly occur in brittle feldspar grains, with a wide range of horizontal and vertical distribution. Due to the early micro-fissures, hydrocarbon migration can be further extended. Reservoirs may also be formed in areas far away from the oil generating center, such as the margin of the basin and the piedmont, with good reservoirs. At the same time, the factors of early microcracks should be emphasized in the analysis of oil and gas trap conditions.
