There was once a historic “Tea Horse Road” in Yunnan and Tibet that enjoyed the same reputation and value as the “Southern Silk Road.” This is a commercial route from Yunnan Puer through Lijiang, Zhongdian, Deqin to Tibet. In those days, merchants passed the ancient trail to sell Yunnan’s tea to Tibet in exchange for a large amount of animal skins, cordyceps and medicinal herbs. Salt Pond Salt Salt Township, located in the ancient way, was also landed on horseback and sold to Tibet and the entire Kangba Tibetan area. Salt wells for the Chinese name, well-known local salt well-known, called Caribou Tibetan language. It is the first stop of the “Ancient Tea Horse Road” in Tibet, about 3,000 meters above sea level, closely follow the Lancang River, the canyon is more than 4,000 meters on both sides of the mountain. The ancient land of this land is now the delta at the intersection of the three provinces and autonomous regions in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces. Tibetans, Han and Naxi people live in harmony and live in harmony. Saline salt sun drying method is unique in the world, that is, from the history of the world salt industry to find, can not find. What is even more unexpected is that there is a Catholic church and a group of devout Catholics in the alpine valley in the southeastern part of Tibet, where Tibetan Buddhism prevailed.
