Our military officers report to the local authorities from the place where they have decided to resign from the military. They usually have a period of six months or more for resettlement. This period is the transitional period for the demobilized military officers from servicemen to common people. They are a period full of longing and anxiety for the future. At the same time, it is also an empty period for troop management. Similarly, the transitional servicemen in other countries also face such a turning-point. Their government departments to help retired military personnel to adapt to the practice of society may be worth our lesson. In this article, the author uses the U.S. Navy's Transition Assistance Program as an example to introduce the relevant U.S. practices for reference.
