为了实现动态应用，Netscape提出了PUSH／PULL机制。本文对这两种机制的原理、效率进行了阐述和分析；并将其与Java比较，以阐明他们各自的特点和应用场合。
In order to achieve dynamic applications, Netscape proposed PUSH / PULL mechanism. In this paper, the principle and efficiency of these two mechanisms are described and analyzed, and compared with Java to clarify their respective characteristics and applications.
