转化数学“学困生”,是实施小学数学素质教育,面向全体学生,全面提高小学数学教学质量面临的一个十分现实而又重要的课题。根据多年小学数学教学经验,我的做法主要有如下几点。第一,减轻压力,保护自尊心。减轻学生心理压力,减少分数压力,保护“学困生”的自尊心,是转化“学困生”的前提。在多年的教学中,我满腔热情地关心他们,偏爱他们。我曾为自己立下两条“规矩”:一是在教学中从不提“差生”、“后进生”等词,同时让发言的学生“体面”地坐下去,给“学困生”回答问题的机会,并再三说明:课内肯动脑筋的同学,有时想得对,有时想得不完全对,有时想错了,也不用怕。这样,打消了他们的顾虑,减轻了他们的心理
