三元古庙位于广州老城北郊三元里村头。第一次鸦片战争期间广州人民在庙前抗英誓师。古庙1961年被国务院公布为首批全国重点文物保护单位。1996年被国家教育委员会、民政部、文化部、国家文物局、共青团中央、解放军总政治部命名为全国中小学爱国主义教育基地。1997年被中宣部命名为首批全国爱国主义教育示范基地。 Ternary Temple located in the northern suburbs of Guangzhou Sanyuanli Village head. During the First Opium War, the people of Guangzhou resisted the temple in front of the temple. The ancient temple was announced by the State Council in 1961 as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
