球墨铸铁的焊接主要用于铸件缺陷的修复。高含碳量要求采取特殊措施,以降低焊接应力与接头的淬硬程度。非铁素体球墨铸铁一般在焊前要预热,而珠光体则要求退火。焊球墨铸铁使用镍与铜基合金,也用成分与被焊件相同的球铁棒。在CO_2与Ar气体保护中焊接,采用纯镍,蒙乃尔及含55%Ni的FeNi合金,以及S-SnBz和S-AlBz青铜。为避免裂缝,焊前预热到200~260℃,并选用热输入量
