近年来,随着铁路建设的快速发展,列车速度和密度不断提高,对运输安全和应急通信保障能力提出更高要求。当发生行车事故或严重自然灾害时,应急通信系统需要迅速及时将现场信息发送至应急指挥中心,使上级领导及时掌握现场情况,快速处置,并将各类指挥命令及时传达给现场相关抢险人员。由此可见,迅速、安全、保密、准确和畅通的铁路应急通信系统在铁路运输保障工作中起着重要作用。
