I. Introduction The reinforced concrete piles used in port engineering in our country are usually equipped with pile-tip. There are mainly three roles in setting the pile tip: first, guiding the pile body to maintain the correct position; secondly, favoring the pile sinking; thirdly, longitudinal cracks or corner breakages are not easily generated near the bottom of the pile body. However, the setting of the pile tip increases the pile making process and the cost, but also causes the deflection when the pile penetrates into the pile tip with poor prefabricated quality, and on the contrary, it plays the opposite role.
