The authors used combination chemotherapy in 10 patients with refractory immune thrombocytopenia. Two of them were caused by Hodgkin’s disease and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and the remaining 8 were refractory chronic thrombocytopenic purpura. 7 females, 3 males, the median age of 41.5 years (24 to 69 years).
