Objective To investigate the clinical nursing of ligation and octreotide in the treatment of esophageal and gastric variceal bleeding. Methods Thirty-eight patients with esophageal and gastric variceal bleeding were enrolled in this study. The patients were divided into three groups by random sampling: two groups were given octreotide + ligation, and the other 19 patients were treated with the same method Sexual care programs, 19 patients in the control group with routine nursing programs. Observed and compared the treatment effect of two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group was more effective (94.74% vs 78.95%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); at the same time, the rate of rebleeding between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions The targeted nursing care for patients with esophageal variceal bleeding can reduce complications, reduce the rate of rebleeding and improve the therapeutic effect.
