Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the infection of Treponema pallidum (TP), which seriously affects people’s health [1]. It can invade almost all organs of the body, causing multiple organ lesions, dysfunction, tissue destruction and even death. In order to understand the status of syphilis infection in inpatients in our hospital and provide basis for the prevention and treatment of syphilis, this study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 6958 inpatients in our hospital from January to September in 2011.
