Through comparative analysis of the differences between the early Dazao, Xu Yuanchong and Bing Xin in the English translation of Li Qingzhao’s “One Cut Mei”, we come to the conclusion that the strength of female consciousness has a direct impact on the male translators’ interpretation of the original and the choice of translated words and phrases. At the same time, it is also pointed out that “homosexuals” should not only emphasize the duality perspective reflected in translating heterosexual authors ’works, but also include those who think from the perspective of the gender of the reader when translating same-sex authors’ works.
