The definition of culture given by the Royal Spanish Language Institute is: a system of knowledge that enables people to develop their own critical insights; a certain period of time, a certain social group’s cognitive system of life and habits, knowledge and art, and the degree of development of science and industry. Spanish countries have been influenced by many cultures for centuries, from the indelible marks left by the Greeks, Romans, and Moors to Spain, to Columbus’s discovery of the New World, the Native American culture and the Europeans brought by the invaders. The integration of various cultures in the mainland and even African cultures has made Spanish culture a wonderful work in the treasure house of human knowledge, and various music styles have become the best interpretation of this culture.
