作者对12例病因不明的视神经炎患者(男性3例,女性9例,18～47岁),进行了大剂量静脉注射皮质类固醇的治疗。治疗前视力下降病史7～90天。视盘水肿9例,视神经萎缩2例,视盘外观正常者1例。方法:每6小时静脉注射6甲氢化泼尼松(methylprednisolone)250mg或500mg,持续3～7天,然后立即停药或迅速减量口服。治疗期间每天查视力,隔日查视野。这样治疗后,每周查视力、视野共1个月,每月查1次共3个月,以后每3个月检查1次。结果:12例都有令人满意的治疗效果。其中8例视力从光感～20/30提高到20/30～20/20;5例视力进行性下降、视野缩小者
The authors conducted a high-dose intravenous corticosteroid treatment of 12 patients with optic neuritis of unknown etiology (3 males, 9 females, 18-47 years of age). Pre-treatment vision loss history of 7 to 90 days. Optic disc edema in 9 cases, optic atrophy in 2 cases, optic disc appearance in 1 case. Method: Intravenous injection of methylprednisolone 250 mg or 500 mg every 6 hours for 3-7 days followed by immediate withdrawal or rapid oral dose reductions. Visual acuity during the treatment every day, check the field every other day. After such treatment, weekly visual acuity, visual field of a total of 1 month, check 1 times a month for a total of 3 months, after every 3 months to check 1. Results: All 12 patients had satisfactory therapeutic effect. Among them, the visual acuity in 8 cases increased from 20/30 to 20/30 to 20/20, and the visual acuity decreased in 5 cases.
