Built to commemorate Eric Tabari, the great navigator who died at sea in 1998, the French Maritime Museum has become a new landmark for Lorient’s diving base. The museum, located in the heart of the old military area, will soon be open to tourists. The museum is covered in aluminum plates of color that can change as the weather changes, forming a bright metal “square ”.
