京杭运河纵贯华夏大地,在沟通海河、黄河、淮河、长江、钱塘江五大水系的同时,也把中国东部的燕赵文化圈、齐鲁文化圈、荆楚文化圈和吴越文化圈串联在一起。随着无数人流、物流南上北下,各地域文化之间的交流与传播也在进行,南方的温婉细腻与北方的坚实淳厚,在这条千年长河中交汇、碰撞、融合、演进,形成了特色鲜明的运河文化。
The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal runs through the vast land of China. Along with the five major river systems linking the Haihe River, the Yellow River, the Huaihe River, the Yangtze River and the Qiantang River, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal also connects the Yanzhao Cultural Circle, the Qilu Cultural Circle, the Jingchu Cultural Circle and the Wu-Yue Cultural Circle in eastern China together. As innumerable people flow, logistics flows southward and northward, exchanges and dissemination among various regional cultures are also under way. The gentle and delicate southern China and the solid northern Shaanxi meet, collide, merge, evolve and form Distinctive characteristics of the canal culture.
