In recent years, Swedish education has shown a downward trend in international rankings. To this end, Sweden has introduced a number of reform measures aimed at improving the quality of education. The latest reform is to implement the national unified examination in primary education. One possible downside to standardizing tests is to give students anxiety in exams, and test anxiety can affect test scores. In this study, 40 students in the third grade were selected to use modern standardized tests to measure test anxiety in both math and Swedish subjects. The results showed that test anxiety was related to poor grades in Swedish. There was a significant correlation between math scores and test anxiety.
