通过从地形地貌、动车性能、工程设置及投资等方面对不同的坡度方案进行分析、比选,确定宝兰客运专线最大坡度的取值。从地形地貌分析,20‰(个别25‰)坡度方案更加适应地形,节省工程投资;从动车性能分析,动车组功率大、质量轻,适应最大坡度能力强,20‰(个别25‰)坡度方案使得动车的牵引及制动性能发挥良好,同时也满足最小时间追踪间隔要求;从工程设置及投资分析,20‰(个别25‰)坡度方案主隧道长度合理、工程投资较为节省。本项目推荐最大坡度为20‰(个别25‰)是合理可行的。
