中国影视节目当前依托四达时代数字电视平台在东非国家的传播呈现出以下特征:一方面,中国电视频道与同一平台上其他国家电视频道相比,分布过于集中,订价过于昂贵;另一方面,该平台自行开发的中国影视频道虽以家庭伦理、青春爱情题材的中国当代影视剧为推广重点,但无法改变东非本地观众青睐功夫电影的传统收视习惯。未来,中国影视作品在东非的数字化传播要想同时收获经济效益与文化口碑,应在继续提升自身译制能力基础上实践本土化策略,在降低价格门槛与动员社群参与两方面谋求改进。

In the future, if the digital transmission of Chinese film and television works in East Africa wants to gain economic benefits and cultural reputation at the same time, localization strategies should be practiced on the basis of continuing to improve its own translation system capabilities and seek improvements in lowering the price threshold and mobilizing community participation.
