目的探讨乳腺癌组织中NDRG1基因的表达及意义,分析NDRG1基因在原发癌组织及淋巴结转移癌组织中表达的变化。方法乳腺癌患者74例分为两组:有淋巴结转移组33例,无淋巴结转移组41例,采用免疫组化半定量积分法比较两组病例癌组织NDRG1基因的表达,探讨其与临床病理的关系;分析NDRG1基因在原发癌组织及淋巴结转移癌组织中表达的变化。结果淋巴结转移组比无淋巴结转移组癌组织NDRG1基因表达明显降低(P<0.01);NDRG1基因表达与淋巴结转移呈负相关(rs=-0.415),与年龄及肿物大小无关。淋巴结转移癌组织中,NDRG1基因表达比原发癌组织明显降低(P<0.01)。结论 NDRG1表达的下调参与了乳腺癌的转移机制,NDRG1基因过表达可能对乳腺癌转移起抑制作用。
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of NDRG1 in breast cancer and to analyze the expression of NDRG1 in primary and metastatic tissues of lymph node. Methods Totally 74 breast cancer patients were divided into two groups: 33 cases with lymph node metastasis and 41 cases without lymph node metastasis. The expression of NDRG1 gene in two groups of cancer tissues was compared by semi-quantitative method of immunohistochemistry, The relationship between the expression of NDRG1 and primary cancer and lymph node metastasis was analyzed. Results The expression of NDRG1 in lymph node metastasis group was significantly lower than that in non - lymph node metastasis group (P <0.01). The expression of NDRG1 gene was negatively correlated with lymph node metastasis (rs = -0.415), but not with age and tumor size. Lymph node metastasis, NDRG1 gene expression was significantly lower than the primary cancer (P <0.01). Conclusion The down-regulation of NDRG1 expression is involved in the mechanism of breast cancer metastasis. Overexpression of NDRG1 may have an inhibitory effect on breast cancer metastasis.
