扫描仪作为一种普及型的图形图像输入设备,目前在各广告公司、出版社、输出中心、乃至个人用户中,都得到非常广泛的应用。但是,扫描仪品牌繁多,档次良莠不齐,那么您现有的扫描仪到底能做什么,不能做什么,如何使之最大限度地发挥其功能呢? 在国内目前常用的扫描仪无非是以下两大类型。滚筒扫描仪和平面扫描仪。滚筒扫描仪采用光电倍增管(PMT)作为传感器,具有极高的扫描精度,但是其高昂的价格,使其难以推广普及。另一种是目前大量使用的平面扫描仪,它采用电荷耦合器件(CCD)作为传感器,由于CCD设计的不同,不同品牌不同价格的平面扫描仪差别很大,衡量平面扫描仪的质量包括:光学分辨率、密度范围、位深、黑白场平衡等等诸多因素。其中,扫描分辩率的设定是人为控制扫描质量的一个重要参数。
