半控桥式可控硅励磁装置在同步机启动过程中,转子回路有半个周波没有经过放电电阻而产生附加制动力矩,使同步机的启动特性变坏。这就严重地限制了半控桥式可控硅励磁装置的使用范围,特别是在具有重载和通风机负载特性的同步机拖动系统中,因起动力矩和牵入力矩受短路半波所产生的附加制动力矩的影响,造成困难。但是,在轻载启动的拖动系统中,如空气压缩机等,这个影响是可以忽略的。我矿几台与国产7L-8/100型空气压缩机配套的TDK-173/20-16型同步电动机的半控桥式可控硅励磁装置经七年来安全运行的情况证明了这一点。

Several mine-controlled half-bridge thyristor excitation devices of TDK-173 / 20-16 synchronous motors equipped with domestic 7L-8/100 air compressors proved our safe operation in seven years.
