China’s National Development and Reform Commission recently announced a phase-out of incandescent lamp according to the size of the power roadmap to determine next October 1, will ban the import and sale of incandescent lamp above 100W (inclusive). By 2016, the sale and import of incandescent lamps for general lighting of 15W and above are forbidden. In addition, the NDRC said it is working with the Ministry of Finance to formulate a policy to encourage LED lighting. The face of the strong policy support, LED lighting industry can usher in the long-awaited spring? The answer seems less certain. In the recently held in Shenzhen, the thirteenth China International Hi-Tech Fair, the LED industry has shown “ice and mortar”. On the one hand, high-end LED lighting manufacturers in good condition sales, and on the one hand, many companies because of the lack of core technology is facing the danger of bankruptcy.
