韶山1型电力机车,多年来曾屡次发生牵引电机轴承发热和烧损事故。事故之初均判为小齿轮松弛之故。日而久之,事故未见消除。 1980年元月,石家庄电力机务段SS1172号机车在北京环行道试车时,发生第一位牵引电动机轴承烧结,轮对无法转动。在随即进行的落轮拆检过程中,未发现小齿轮松弛迹象。1981年7~8月间,SS1010号机车厂修后在 Shaoshan 1-type electric locomotive, over the years has repeatedly occurred traction motor bearing fever and burning accident.
