地震在同一地区反复发生地震是因连续的地壳应变最终地壳难以承受这种应变而发生的一种破坏现象。破坏的方式虽然不同,但在地震时总是以某一平面两侧产生错动,因而出现断层,发生地震。通常在产生断层时,大约以每秒三公里的速度发生“错动”。例如,八级以上的地震,由于断层面的长度在100—150公里左右,到地震结束时,也就是在断层形成时,需要几十秒的时间。
Earthquakes Repeatedly Occurred in the Same Area Earthquakes occur as a result of continual crustal strain that ultimately leads to unbearable strain on the crust. Although the way of destruction is different, in the event of an earthquake, faults always occur on both sides of a certain plane and faults and earthquakes occur. Normally, “faulty” occurs at a rate of about three kilometers per second when a fault is generated. For example, earthquakes with a magnitude of eight or more may take tens of seconds to complete at the end of an earthquake, that is, at the time of fault formation, due to the length of the fault plane being about 100-150 km.
