Raw soil construction has a long history. Those earth houses and cave dwellings, which were once considered to be symbolic of poverty and backwardness, have now caused widespread interest among the people of the third world and even some developed countries. In recent years, the United Nations scientific and technological organizations and some international academic organizations have successively held various academic conferences and exhibitions with raw soil construction as their subject, and published some special issues. Last year, architects and other experts from the United States, Japan, Belgium, and other countries also came to China to inspect caves and raw soil buildings. This article plans to give some introductions on the conditions and development trends of foreign raw soil construction for your reference.
