近日,北京市公交印刷厂对自己的前途陷入了迷茫。这家始建于1951年的印刷厂,目前承担着几乎所有公交车、地铁、城铁车月票的印刷。按该厂业务部部长李红生先生的说法,目前北京市各种车票每年的印剧量在20亿张以上。多年来,业务部每个月要接收来自各公交公司的订单计划,根据计划安排印刷,一切都是按部就班。在外人看来,和别的印刷厂唯一不同的,就是在这里印刷出来的是车票,而别的地方印刷出来的是书籍。不过,这个不少人习以为常的生产流程被打破——2006年5月21日,北京市交通委员会、北京市发展和改革委受会等7个部门联合发布《关于使用一卡通IC卡替代公交地铁纸质月票的通告》(简称“《通告》”)。《通告》宣称难产多年的公交地铁纸质月票改革方案出台的同时,“决定自2006年5月1日起,采用一卡通IC卡替代公交地铁纸质月票”。在谈及《通告》实施后北京市公交印刷厂可能面临的局面时,李红生回答:“肯定会受到影响。”
