Objective To analyze and discuss the short-term therapeutic effect of visual function recovery after strabismic amblyopia surgery. Methods From March 2008 to December 2010 in our hospital, 96 cases of strabismic amblyopia patients with more than 3mo glasses for patients with no improvement of visual acuity through the implementation of corrective surgery, and then the implementation of amblyopia training steps for treatment. Results Of the 96 patients, 89 were positive at 1wk, accounting for 92.3%, 3 were undercorrected ophthalmic position, accounting for 3.3%, 4 were overcorrected, accounting for 4.4%, and 23 were Diplopia, accounting for 24.4%, postoperative patients with amblyopia lwk average visual acuity was (0.68 ± 0.31), compared with preoperative significantly increased (P <0.05). In children with fusion and stereopsis, there were 17 patients with fusion before operation, stereotactic visual acuity was observed in 14 cases (82.4%), non-fusion in 22 cases, stereopsis in 12 cases 55.2%, the difference between the two groups was significant (P <0.05). Preoperative amblyopia eyes atropine mydriasis optometrists and postoperative 1mo comparison, preoperative and postoperative eye refraction with no significant difference (P> 0.05), not statistically significant. Conclusion For amblyopia caused by deviation of the eye position, we can not consider the degree of amblyopia, may be the first surgical treatment of strabismus, the less the degree of amblyopia in patients, it is necessary to implement strabismus surgery earlier, to ensure that the patient to establish a better binocular Visual function.
