Interlabel is one of the traditional forms of cultivation in Texas. In recent years, with the increase of watermelon cultivation area, contradictions between melon and cotton have become increasingly prominent. With the issue of needle row, the cultivation methods of melon and cotton intercropping have been popularized all over the country. Generally believed that watermelon, cotton production after the intercropping were lower than single. Cucumber intercropping patterns are mostly intercropped with watermelon. The density of cotton is different from that of monoculture, and the configuration of fields is different, so it is difficult to draw lessons from different regions. This experiment attempted to explore the possibility that watermelon and cotton could work better than single cropping, and find out a suitable field allocation method that could improve the productivity of land in the whole field, achieve nutrient balance and improve economic efficiency, and provide basis for production and application.
