为了实现重型货车轻量化,节省材料,降低运输成本,节能减排。通过对铸钢桥壳法兰面朝下的V法铸造工艺方法和法兰面朝上的V法铸造工艺方法的进行对比,结果表明:法兰面朝上的铸件外观轮廓清晰,尺寸精度高,表面没有气孔、夹渣、粘砂等铸造缺陷,铸件内部也无缺陷;法兰面朝下的铸件内浇道处有缩松、桥体处有缩孔,贯通孔内腔处存在少许表皮气孔;通过拉伸试验及布氏硬度测试,法兰面朝上铸件的力学性能指标都符合汽车铸钢桥壳的技术要求。表明用法兰面朝上的V法铸造工艺方法能够达到材料的力学性能及品质要求。
