Due to the presence of viscous substances in the injected water, the normal operation of the water injection system is extremely troublesome, and sometimes quite prominent. The composition and formation of such sediments are often overlooked or not understood. Often used method is to do some bacterial tests, according to the test results to determine the relationship between sediments and related microorganisms, and then use the appropriate chemical treatment. It should be acknowledged that clogging substances consisting solely of living or dead microorganisms are rare. When there are microorganisms in the water, there are many conditions that can inhibit its growth. For example, in the closed system of highly salinity water, there has never been a phenomenon of microbial plugging. Fresh water in a pond or river produces a significant amount of organic deposits (except oil) when the produced water is mixed in an open pond or tank. Microscopic observation shows that it is a non-specific shape of the dirt, and is mainly a solid material. Therefore, the strict inspection of the sediment can lead to unexpected results.
