A new type of zero impulse response infinite impulse response (11R) Nyquist filter is proposed. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the transfer function are obtained. The proposed 11R Nyquist filter requires only the best frequency domain, and proposes a multistep optimization using iteratively sliced-chirp approximation. This method enables the design of a new 11R Nyquist filter with low order. Examples of numerical examples of 30% and 15% roll-off rates are given. Prove from these examples. Compared with the conventional finite impulse response (FIR) Nyquist filter. The 11R method can reduce the order and hardware of the filter, which is more effective for high-Q Nyquist filters.
