广东沿海地带侵蚀丘陵地面积广阔，地带性植被的代表类型为热带常绿季雨林。因长期受人类活动干扰，丘陵地的次生植被以灌草丛为优势，局部植被覆盖差，土壤侵蚀严重，引起环境退化。文中根据侵蚀丘陵地植被和环境特点，提出开发利用和改造设想。
Eroded hilly land in Guangdong coastal area is vast, and the representative type of zonal vegetation is tropical evergreen monsoon forest. Due to long-term disturbance by human activities, the secondary vegetation in hilly land is dominated by shrub grass, with poor coverage of local vegetation and serious soil erosion, causing environmental degradation. Based on the characteristics of vegetation and environment in the eroded hilly area, the paper proposes the ideas of exploitation, utilization and reconstruction.
