采用双层复合手段制得各向同性的聚氯乙烯(PVC)/硫酸镁晶须(MSW)复合材料,每层中的MSW是单一取向的。扫描电镜表明:试样中MSW是高度取向的。研究双层复合法制备的复合材料力学性能随MSW含量的变化规律。并与单一MSW取向的复合材料进行比较。结果表明:双层复合制得的材料纵横向力学性能一致,且在低添加量时也能较大地提高复合材料力学性能。
An isotropic PVC / magnesium sulfate whisker (MSW) composite was made using a two-layer composite approach with the MSW in each layer being unitary. Scanning electron microscopy showed that the MSW in the sample was highly oriented. The mechanical properties of composites prepared by double-layer composite method were studied with the variation of MSW content. And compared with a single MSW oriented composite. The results show that the mechanical properties of the composites prepared by the two-layer composite are consistent in both longitudinal and transverse directions, and the mechanical properties of the composites can also be greatly improved at low additive levels.
