交通运输设备制造业是技术和资本密集型产业,是中国工业经济增长的重要支柱产业之一,具有较高区域集聚性。本文利用区位基尼系数具体度量了我国交通运输制造行业1990~2013年的集聚程度,构建了外商直接投资与中国交通运输设备制造业集聚回归模型,分析两者之间的内在数量关系;并运用现代计量经济学模型建立两者之间的格兰杰因果关系。研究结果表明,我国交通运输设备制造业整体上集聚程度增加,但最近几年略有下降;中国交通运输设备制造业外商投资路径依赖显著,产业集聚效应对外商直接投资效应明显;FDI一定程度上是运输设备行业集聚的格兰杰原因,但运输设备制造业并不是FDI的格兰杰原因。
Transport equipment manufacturing is a technology-intensive and capital-intensive industry and one of the important pillar industries for China’s industrial economic growth with a high degree of regional agglomeration. In this paper, the Gini coefficient is used to measure the degree of agglomeration in China’s transportation manufacturing industry from 1990 to 2013. The regression model between foreign direct investment and transportation equipment manufacturing industry in China is built and the relationship between the two is analyzed. Econometric modeling establishes the Granger causality between the two. The results show that the overall degree of agglomeration of China’s transportation equipment manufacturing industry has increased, but the number has dropped slightly in recent years; the path of foreign investment in China’s transportation equipment manufacturing industry is significant, and the effect of agglomeration on foreign direct investment is obvious; and to a certain extent, Is the Granger cause of agglomeration in the transportation equipment industry. However, the transportation equipment manufacturing industry is not the Granger cause of FDI.
