December 1, 2010, in Jinan, Shandong Province, a 65-year-old man quietly left. According to his wishes, his family donated their remains to the Jinan Red Cross Society. As a result, he became a foreign friend who became the first donation body in the history of Shandong Province. The funeral of the elderly there is no grand ceremony, no memorial service, not even a wreath, a bunch of flowers. My family hopes to send the elderly quietly in this way. However, many citizens of Jinan heard the news spontaneously to the elderly’s home condolences. Many media at home and abroad also reported on the life of the elderly. The old man is the former Japanese army medic who was described by the media as “the last devil soldier in China” and the nickname of “devil doctor” Yamazaki Hiroshi.
