In his stay in Japan, Lu Xun began to contact Chekhov’s novels. Lu Xun said many times that he likes Chekhov on top, and he has always attached importance to translating and explaining Chekhov’s works in China. In Lu Xun’s works, Chevron traces of influence. However, compared with the sadness brought by Chekhov’s novel, Lu Xun’s grief seems to be even more profound, or Lu Xun’s novel with distinctive Chinese culture is more likely to arouse our psychological identity. In this paper, from the comparison between Chekhov’s “distress” and Lu Xun’s “blessing”, the two literary masters look through the delicate brushwork of the human soul to experience the same strong mental flutter that different people bring to us.
