文章从五个方面论述了木材加工业成为福建省支柱产业的可能性与机遇；同时提出了木材加工业成为支柱产业的策略和措施，主要有：实现速生丰产林与人造板工业一体化，建立稳定的原料基地，作为企业的第一车间；宏观调控上要实现森林资源的合理利用和合理配置；人造板应以市场为导向调整产品和产业结构，并以木竹为基材的各种复合工程材料作为产品的发展方向；同时加强老企业技术改革，加速产品更新换代以及加强人才培养和科技投入，建立多学科的综合科研开发体系。
The article discusses the possibilities and opportunities for the wood processing industry to become a pillar industry in Fujian Province in five aspects. At the same time, it puts forward the strategies and measures for the wood processing industry to become a pillar industry, mainly including the realization of the integration of fast-growing and high-yield forests with the wood-based panel industry. The stable raw material base serves as the first workshop of the company; the rational use and reasonable allocation of forest resources should be realized in the macro-control; the wood-based panel should be market-oriented to adjust the product and industrial structure; Engineering materials as the direction of product development; at the same time strengthen the technical reform of old enterprises, accelerate product replacement and upgrading of personnel training and investment in science and technology, and establish a comprehensive multidisciplinary scientific research and development system.
