2002年元月 重庆国画院举办建院20周年院史展览与座谈会。三次晋京办画展，多次在海内外推出新作并屡屡在全国美展中获奖，重庆国画院学术建设和创作实践的丰硕成果迎来了建院20周年。去年，作为庆祝系列活动之一，重庆国画院召开关于审美理想的研讨会，在全国产生了很大影响。
January 2002 Chongqing Traditional Chinese Painting Institute held the 20th anniversary of the founding of the hospital history exhibitions and forums. Jincheng held three exhibitions, introduced new works many times at home and abroad and frequently won awards at national art exhibitions. The fruitful achievement of academic construction and creative practice of Chongqing Traditional Chinese Painting Institute celebrated its 20th anniversary. Last year, as one of the series of celebrations, the Chongqing Traditional Chinese Painting Institute held a seminar on aesthetic ideals, which had a great impact throughout the country.
