This paper introduces the principle of iterative self-learning control and applies it to the transient stability control of FACTS (for example, controllable series compensation). By comparing the controllable series compensation of fixed series compensation, PI control and iterative self-learning control State stability. It is pointed out that Iterative self-learning control has a lot of advantages that conventional control algorithms do not have, and it is a control method that deserves further study
