讨论文明起源,良渚是一个非常重要的财富。良渚是非常特别的,从它外围的水利系统到城中心的宫殿区,再到外围的城墙,以及城市早期的发展布局到晚期发展布局的变化,都显示出高度的复杂性。但是它不能被简单地定义为一个早期的仪式中心,或者放在国家社会的文明系列里。尤其良渚遗址的规模和墓葬所指示的社会等级、社会分层,似乎与多年来我们对早期国家社会构成的某些认识标准不相符。良渚的复杂性可以引发考古学家对于文明以及复杂社会到底是什么的新的想法和看法。而如果要更好地理解良渚在世界文明史中的地位,需要用其他的新的术语来讨论良渚社会的系统和阶层。良渚遗址的发现对世界上长久以来业已形成的关于早期文明、早期国家和早期复杂社会的传统观念提出了质疑和反思。
Discuss the origin of civilization, Liangzhu is a very important asset. Liangzhu is very special, from its peripheral water system to the palace area in the center of the city, to the outer wall of the city, and the changes from the early development layout to the late development layout in the city, all show a high degree of complexity. But it can not be simply defined as an early ceremonial center or in a civilized series of national societies. In particular, the size of the Liangzhu site and the social class and social stratification indicated by the tombs appear to be inconsistent with our understanding of some of the cognitive standards that have existed in the early state for many years. The complexity of Liangzhu can spark archaeologists new ideas and opinions about what civilization and what complex society is. To better understand Liangzhu’s status in the history of world civilization, we need to use other new terms to discuss the systems and strata of Liangzhu society. The discovery of the Liangzhu site raised questions and reflections on the long established traditional beliefs about early civilization, early state and early complex societies.
