画屏既是一个物件又是绘画的媒介。作为物件的画屏把空间转化成可定义、可管理和可控制的场所,作为绘画媒介的画屏则展示了与人所处环境相呼应的象征性或再现性的图像,同时借用画屏传达特定的主题。文章通过解析中国绘画中典型的四种“画中画”范式来阐述屏风在其中的深层暗喻。
Screen painting is both an object and a medium of painting. The screen as an object transforms the space into a definable, manageable and controllable place, and the painting screen as a painting medium displays a symbolic or reproducible image corresponding to the environment in which people live, and draws a screen to convey a specific theme . The article expounds the deep metaphor of the screen by analyzing four typical “PIP” paradigms in Chinese painting.
