机构改革以来,红河州在各级领导班子建设上做了大量工作,特别是各级党委和组织部门比较主动地抓后备干部工作,取得了较好的效果,促进了领导班子建设。随着社会主义市场经济体制的建立和改革的不断深化以及离退休高峰已经或即将出现,需要更多的跨世纪的优秀中青年干部担当历史的重任,因此,进一步加强和改进后备干部工作,势在必行。近年来,我州在后备干部工作方面作了许多有益的研究和尝试,取得了一定的成效,主要做法是:
