北五湖在明清时期山东运河上起了重要的水柜作用,使运河保持畅通以达到漕粮北运,维系了明清京师的命脉。但是北五湖因运河而兴,因运河而亡。本文试图对近些年来的对历史时期北五湖的研究从历史地理角度略作其形成变迁的介绍和评述,并试图找出当前研究存在的不足,探索该领域今后发展的新方向。 In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the northern Wuhu Lake played an important role as a water tank to keep the canal open to the north of the grain transport canal and to maintain the lifelines of the capitalists in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. However, due to the development of the northern Five Lakes and the canal, the canal died. This article tries to make a brief introduction and review of the research on the history of Beiwu Lake in history from the perspective of history and geography, trying to find out the shortcomings of current research and exploring the new direction of future development in this field.
