Swimming has a long history in human history. China’s hot spring swimming pool has a long history. In Europe, a large-scale bathing area emerged during the Roman republic era. In 1896, the first modern Olympic Games listed swimming as a competition item. However, the construction of swimming buildings did not develop until the 1950s. In West Germany and Japan, for example, West Germany built 2,000 swimming pools from 1960 to 1973 and had more than 1,000 artificial swimming pools. In the spring of 1975, the average indoor swimming pool area per person in West Germany has reached 0.015m~2, basically eliminating the phenomenon of swimming in unclean river channels. Japan’s swimming building development is also faster. In the early 1970s, the school swimming pool was set at a rate of 40% for elementary schools.
