修河从幕阜山发源而下,绕修水县城,过抱子石,途经太阳升镇后流入的第一村就是杨梅渡村。杨梅渡村古时盛产杨梅,每逢梅熟季节,老百姓采摘好成担的杨梅,再摇小舟渡修河到对岸三都古镇上叫卖,所以此渡被称为杨梅渡。此后村子演变为“中华香樟第一村”杨梅渡车田自然村。山中可见千年树,平地也有树千年。延绵数百里的修河旁,车田古樟为一大胜景。相传,古樟群为唐代“大历十才子”之一的南阳著名诗人韩翃所栽,至今已有1500多年。韩翃游历至此时,得知此处村民皆 Xiuhe River originates from Mu Fu Shan, around Xiu Shui county, over Shi Zi stone, the first village after the sun rose into the town is Yangmei Ducun.
