核桃原产中亚,西汉时张骞通西域,从新疆带回种仁在关内栽种,故名胡桃或羌桃。一般常见的核桃仁,色呈深褐,那是取自干燥的核桃;新鲜的核桃仁则呈微带淡紫的白色。核桃仁营养丰富,不仅可入肴做菜、制作糕点、榨油,而且是补脑益智的珍品。
Walnut is native to Central Asia, and in the Western Han Dynasty, Zhang Shutong passed through the Western Regions. From Xinjiang, the seed kernels were planted in the customs, hence the name Walnut or Peach. The common walnut kernels are dark brown, which is taken from dried walnuts; the fresh walnuts are white with slightly purple. Walnut kernels are rich in nutrients, and can not only be used for cooking, making cakes, and pressing oil, but also a treasure of Bunao.
