The highly toxic arsenic in the Chinese medicine family finally emerged in the treatment of “blood cancer.” The arsenious acid injection purified from China International Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. affiliated to Harbin Medical University is currently awarded a national invention patent. On the basis of long-term clinical observation, well-known domestic scholars have revealed the mechanism of arsenic preparations inducing differentiation of acute promyelocytes and promoting apoptosis of cancer cells from the molecular biology and gene levels.
